Not FoundBummer. I feel really bad about this. You came to this page looking for something specific. You haven't found it have you? I feel really bad about this. Sigh. What to do? Perhaps what you're looking for was here once upon a time and just got moved. Or deleted. Perhaps it was never written. The way I see it, you have a couple of options. You could keep refreshing the page and pray that the page you're looking for automagically appears. But that'd be a waste of my server's bandwidth. Running one's own blog isn't exactly cheap you know. But that's really besides the point- believe me when I say that refreshing the page isn't going to help you. Give it a shot. Or two. You could also try hitting the back button on your browser. It should be way up in this window and probably has an arrow pointing to the left. You could also try going to the home page by clicking on this. A "home page" is like the "main" page of a website- very important page this. You could find something useful there. Another more useful thing you could try searching for whatever you're looking for in that search box at the top of the page. It's not that bad. The folks at Wordpress are really going places. If you're not that kicked out about the Wordpress search, or if you land back at this page- you could try Google. There's this neat trick you could try with Google- you can search within a specific site. You just go to Google and type out "site: There's no guarantee that Google will return the right page for you. You see, how Google works is that they "crawl" the web at regular intervals and store what they see over to their own servers. So when you're searching for something on Google, they're really only returning what is available on their own servers. So if there were any major changes made to this blog after they "crawled" it, those changes would not be reflected on to their servers immediately. One would have to wait for Google to come back to my site and "crawl" it all over again. You could of course try another search engine- Yahoo and Bing also have users. There's yet another nifty little trick you could try out- if you find someone on Google's search results, but land back at this page- it's fairly plausible that the content was recently moved. You could try using the "Cached" option next to the Google search result. That will show you the version of the page that's present on Google's servers when they last crawled that page. Neat huh? If you've exhausted all these options- you could get in touch with me and ask if I've got a clue as to where what you're searching for really is. There really are no guarantees of this method of course- mostly because I've got an absolutely horrid memory. But I'll give it a shot. Type out an email to search@v-i-g-n-e-t-t-i-n-g-l-i-f-e.com. Now remember this though: Before you send that email, remove every hyphen in the email address. If you don't the email is never going to reach me. It'll just get lost in the interwebs. Like you are. |
