WTF Picture of the day

Cancer/AIDS cure?!!

This is a picture I captured on a train a while ago. My apologies for the fuzziness. For the benefit of those who don’t understand what’s on the poster, it says, “The cure to Cancer/Aids now exists”. An Ayurvedic Hospital called “Lavanya Kayakalap Anushandhan Kendra” purports to have the cure to cancer and AIDS. Funny I didn’t catch that in the news lately. They even have a website for your benefit.

  • The site design is nice though. Besides they even claim to have ISO certification! No one is going to shit about this. Who cares about it anyway, how many people do you really think would even bother to read this and the real people suffering from Aids know the truth.
  • Considering that this is in a train, I'd expect a lot of people to read this. Also, you'll be surprised how common a trait gullibility is. What really struck me more than anything else is how brazen these guys are with adverts like this. That they can put this stuff up without fear of retribution from the law!

    Next time get a pic of the i-pill ads. They are even more hilarious.
  • Atleast the i-pill ads aren't as misleading as this one is. I mean, seriously- the cure to cancer and AIDS?!!!
